She was able to beat Valerie Domergue during Phoenix FC 4. She quit the promotion and started Dana White's Contender Series 2018. Shevchenko took on Jaimelene Nievera at Dana White's Tuesday Night Contender Series 11. Antonina knocked out Nievera using her impressive striking ability in the final clinch with knees placed on her body. After this win, Antonina was able to sign the chance to sign a UFC contract. Antonina was able to make her UFC debut in the TUF Heavy Hhitters Finale, with Ji Yeon Kim. Shevchenko took victory in a unanimous decision, but lost her second fight to Roxanne Modafferi in a split decision. Antonina bounced off the loss and fought Lucie Prudilova's battle at UFC on ESPN Covingtonvs. Lawler who was able to win the fight by back naked choke submission. This was by far the most exciting fight of the night for that bout. Shevchenko had a 1-2 record in the next three fights. She defeated Ariane Lipski but lost to Katlyn Chokagian as well as Andrea Lee. Then, Antonina was defeated by Casey O'Neill at UFC Fight Night Santos vs. Walker via second-round TKO.
