Antonina Shevchenko

Antonina Shevchenko, an Kyrgyzstani Muay-Thai MMA fighter from Peru as well as a mixed martial arts artist who is a part of UFC. UFC in the Flyweight Division. She is a Kyrgyzstani. She is the younger sister of an earlier UFC Flyweight champ and co- UFC competitor Valentina. Antonina Shevchenko began her career as a Muay Thai kickboxer. Her debut was in 2003 at the IFMA World Championship Tournament. Shevchenko won the competition and defeated Suzane Milliner in a unanimous vote. Antonina then won the Silver Medal in 2007 and a Bronze Medal in 2008 and a gold medal in the year 2011, and in the IFMA Amateure 2016 Muay Tha World Champion. Antonia started her professional journey when she was in the year 2003. She has taken home numerous awards, such as the WKC K-1 Light Welterweight World Championships the Lion Fight Lightweight Championships as well as the WMC and Phoenix FC World Championships. Antonina's most recent fight took place against Isa Tiedblad Keskikangas, who was fighting at the Phoenix Fighting Championship. She won by a an unanimous vote. Antonina Schevchenko started the professional phase of her MMA career in 2002 with a win over Anara Baanova at the KFK Cup of Kyrgystan. She won this fight via TKO at the end of round two and her subsequent 2 matches were held at the WXF X-Impact World Championships. Shevchenko was forced to take a break in order to focus on the sport of kickboxing. Shevchenko returned against Anissahaddaoui at Phoenix FC 3. Shevchenko defeated Anissa with a unanimous win. She was able to beat Valerie Domergue during Phoenix FC 4. She quit the promotion and started Dana White's Contender Series 2018. Shevchenko took on Jaimelene Nievera at Dana White's Tuesday Night Contender Series 11. Antonina knocked out Nievera using her impressive striking ability in the final clinch with knees placed on her body. After this win, Antonina was able to sign the chance to sign a UFC contract. Antonina was able to make her UFC debut in the TUF Heavy Hhitters Finale, with Ji Yeon Kim. Shevchenko took victory in a unanimous decision, but lost her second fight to Roxanne Modafferi in a split decision. Antonina bounced off the loss and fought Lucie Prudilova's battle at UFC on ESPN Covingtonvs. Lawler who was able to win the fight by back naked choke submission. This was by far the most exciting fight of the night for that bout. Shevchenko had a 1-2 record in the next three fights. She defeated Ariane Lipski but lost to Katlyn Chokagian as well as Andrea Lee. Then, Antonina was defeated by Casey O'Neill at UFC Fight Night Santos vs. Walker via second-round TKO.
